Role Overview:
As a Practice Accountant, you will be an integral part of our team, delivering exceptional accounting and financial solutions to our diverse client base. You will have the unique opportunity to work closely with clients, understanding their individual needs and offering tailored advice and support. Join us in fostering growth, both professionally and personally, while contributing to the success of our clients and the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements with meticulous attention to detail and compliance
- Maintain client accounts through accurate bookkeeping, reconciliation, and data entry
- Prepare Year End Accounts, VAT returns, Monthly Payroll Submissions, Self-assessments and Corporation tax computations and returns
- Conduct insightful financial analysis to assist clients in making informed decisions
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to identify areas for process enhancement and operational efficiency
- Train and support junior members of the team
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as an Accountant within an accountancy practice.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical skills (essential)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines (essential)
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in using accounting software, Quickbooks and the Microsoft Excel.
