Job Summary:
A Travel Agent is responsible for helping clients plan and book travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and activities. They provide expert advice on destinations, travel options, and travel regulations to ensure clients have a safe and enjoyable trip. The travel agent must have excellent communication skills and a passion for travel and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and activities
- Research and recommend travel options based on the client's preferences, budgets, and travel regulations
- Provide expert advice on destinations, local customs, and travel regulations
- Ensure clients have the necessary travel documents, such as passports and visas
- Process payments and bookings, and handle any cancelations or changes to travel plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of travel arrangements and client interactions
- Build and maintain relationships with travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and attend training and networking events
Qualifications Or Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in travel, tourism, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role preferred "OR" Experience should be minimum 1.5 years in any Technical field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of travel industry regulations and trends
- Proficient in using travel booking systems and software
- Ability to work 9AM to 6PM and Sunday Off.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages is an advantage
- Must Have a Laptop as well.
