We are looking for a talented Web Developer with demonstrated expertise in both WordPress and custom website development. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently building, maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting websites. This role demands a proactive professional who can oversee the entire website project lifecycle—from initial development and deployment to ongoing maintenance—ensuring optimal performance and a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites using WordPress and custom-built platforms.
- Manage website deployment, including launching sites and transitioning from staging to production environments.
- Identify and resolve bugs, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide continuous website maintenance.
- Design and develop responsive landing pages aimed at maximizing conversions.
- Optimize website speed and performance while implementing SEO best practices.
- Configure hosting services, domain settings, DNS, SSL certificates, and handle website migrations.
- Set up and manage official business email accounts via platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and cPanel.
- Perform regular backups, security updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate closely with designers and marketing teams to implement website changes and improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and customizations.
- Proficiency in custom website development; familiarity with PHP, Laravel, React, Node.js, or other modern technologies is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience managing hosting environments, including cPanel, Cloudflare, DNS management, SSL certificates, and domain configuration.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues related to websites, servers, and email systems.
This position offers a hybrid remote work arrangement based in Karachi, requiring attendance at the Shahrah-e-Faisal office once a week or as needed. The monthly salary ranges from PKR 20,000 to 60,000, depending on skills, experience, and portfolio quality.
