Wasl Investment Finance Limited is a licensed non-bank finance company operating in the SME and micro-finance sectors with a focus on bike and mobile financing. Wasl is looking to hire a business analyst who will focus on their loan portfolio management. The analyst will report directly to senior management in a lean management structure. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with senior professionals who have over 30 years of combined experience of having worked at top tier investment banking and investment management firms across the globe including New York, London and Dubai
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform credit analysis on data received for potential borrowers of motorbikes and mobile phones
- Maintain loan management system for bike and mobile financing portfolios at Wasl Investment Finance
- Specifically, manage origination of new loans, track payments and maintain loan schedules for existing borrowers
- Maintain accrual of interest and principal on a periodic basis at individual and portfolio level, reporting of accrual and payments to accounting team for book keeping purposes
- Develop KPIs for portfolio performance and maintain dashboards and performance sheets for internal reporting to senior management
- Periodically create presentations for senior management to track performance of loan programs across different sectors based on reported data
- Develop dashboards on an individual loan level basis for external reporting to credit agencies
- Track delinquent payments and maintain dashboard of borrowers that are past due for follow up and recovery procedures
Qualification Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with high level of proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills with proficiency in MS Word / PowerPoint
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- A history of leading and / or supporting successful projects
