Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable product sourcing and favorable terms.
- Conduct thorough market research and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and purchase agreements to achieve competitive pricing and favorable delivery conditions.
- Manage purchase order processes, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals in alignment with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels closely to maintain adequate stock and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly using established criteria and take corrective actions when necessary to improve service and quality.
- Collaborate effectively with logistics, finance, and store departments to coordinate procurement schedules and optimize supply chain operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with company procurement policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
