We are looking for a skilled Rust Developer with 1+ years of experience to join our team on a part-time remote basis for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of systems programming, performance optimization, and memory safety. You will work on building high-performance applications and scalable software systems from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain Rust-based applications.
Optimize code for performance and memory efficiency.
Work with asynchronous programming and multi-threading in Rust.
Integrate third-party APIs and libraries into Rust projects.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug Rust application issues.
Follow best practices for security and data protection.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1+ years of hands-on experience with Rust programming.
Strong understanding of systems programming, memory management, and concurrency.
Experience with Rust frameworks like Actix, Rocket, or Tokio.
Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets, and basic database integration.
Comfortable working with Linux environments, CLI tools, and shell scripting.
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills:
Experience with blockchain, Web3, or embedded systems.
Familiarity with C/C++ or Go.
Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
Exposure to network programming or distributed systems.
