Vivo Pakistan seeks a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive with a minimum of two years of experience, holding qualifications such as BBA, MBA, or M.Com. The role involves maintaining financial records accurately by recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing cash and bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity of financial data and assist in preparing management reports and audit documentation, supporting the financial health and accuracy of the organization.
This position is critical in liaising with regional offices to gather financial information, identifying discrepancies within ledgers and accounts, and regularly reconciling these records to uphold the accuracy of the companys financial statements. The Accounts Executive will not manage a team but will coordinate effectively with other finance professionals to complete management reports and provide necessary documentation for audits according to the annual audit plan. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in the trading and distribution industry who possess strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Collect and consolidate financial information by liaising with regional offices to maintain accurate records.
- Record all financial transactions systematically and verify them against supporting documents for accuracy.
- Perform regular cash and bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and actual balances.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable ledgers, ensuring timely and accurate updates and reconciliations.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies within ledgers and accounts, tracing the source and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of accrual and other accounting principles to properly classify and record transactions.
- Coordinate with finance team members to prepare and finalize comprehensive management reports.
- Provide complete and well-organized supporting documentation to auditors in line with the annual audit schedule.
- Maintain petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation and controls over cash disbursements.
- Utilize ERP and financial reporting software proficiently to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously monitor financial data integrity, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with accounting standards.
