Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and organized Travel & Tours Operations Officer to manage day-to-day travel operations, bookings, itineraries, and customer requirements.
The candidate should be capable of handling travel inquiries professionally and coordinating complete travel arrangements for clients.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a travel agency or tours & travel company is preferred.
- Knowledge of airline ticketing and reservation procedures.
- Familiarity with hotel booking platforms and travel suppliers.
- Understanding of international travel documentation.
- Good English and Urdu communication skills.
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
- Good computer and MS Office skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre will be highly preferred.
- Experience preparing international tour packages will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of visit visa processing will be preferred.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle domestic and international travel inquiries.
- Prepare travel itineraries and tour packages according to client requirements.
- Manage airline reservation and ticketing requests.
- Coordinate hotel bookings and accommodation arrangements.
- Arrange airport transfers, transportation, and other travel services.
- Assist with travel insurance and related documentation.
- Coordinate visit visa documentation and processing where required.
- Communicate with airlines, hotels, suppliers, and travel partners.
- Compare rates and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers.
- Prepare quotations and travel packages for clients.
- Manage booking confirmations, cancellations, amendments, and refunds.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and client payments.
- Follow up with clients regarding documentation and travel arrangements.
- Ensure all travel arrangements are confirmed before the client's departure.
- Provide professional customer support before and during travel.
