Vidix Studios seeks a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our on-site team. The ideal candidate has proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and an ability to produce engaging content for social media and digital platforms. This role requires working under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output, managing multiple projects, and applying creative approaches to each task. The Video Editor must be available for morning shift work at our Vidix Studios location and demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills. As a Video Editor at Vidix Studios, you will take responsibility for editing both short-form and long-form videos, crafting compelling stories through visual pacing, sequencing, and sound design. You will enhance videos with motion graphics, visual effects, audio mixing, and subtitles, ensuring consistency with project requirements. Working collaboratively with the creative team, you will contribute to innovative content strategies and adjust your work based on feedback to meet client and audience expectations effectively.
Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content tailored for social media and digital platforms.
  • Craft engaging storytelling by controlling pacing, sequencing visuals, and integrating sound effectively.
  • Develop creative hooks that capture audience attention within the initial seconds of each video.
  • Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, subtitles, and other visual enhancements as needed.
  • Maintain high-quality output and ensure all projects follow creative and technical specifications.
  • Manage multiple video projects concurrently and ensure timely delivery to meet deadlines.
  • Apply feedback efficiently and complete revisions to align with project objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to devise new and effective content creation approaches.
  • Organize and maintain digital files systematically to enable efficient workflow.
  • Ensure consistent color correction and grading to enhance the visual appeal of all videos.
  • Perform audio editing and mixing to create balanced and clear soundtracks.
  • Produce motion graphics and visual effects to elevate video storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Work consistently on-site during morning shifts, contributing to daily production activities.
