As a key developer at Velogroup, you will utilize your expertise in backend development and full-stack integration to create efficient services and cloud-based solutions. Your responsibilities include managing server environments, deploying continuous integration pipelines, and implementing comprehensive testing strategies such as unit and integration tests. This role requires experience with containerization tools and cloud infrastructure management to support scalable applications. You will be an integral part of an agile team, contributing to sprint planning and delivering high-quality software components. While leadership responsibilities are not part of this role, your proactive involvement and feedback receptiveness will drive the success of our development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services according to project requirements.
- Implement microservices architecture to enhance application modularity and scalability.
- Manage and optimize database systems to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality software and share knowledge within the team.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to validate software functionality and stability.
- Set up and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines for automated builds and releases.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker to streamline development and deployment workflows.
- Manage cloud infrastructure resources and optimize server management for performance and reliability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in English for documentation and collaborative discussions.
- Adapt quickly to feedback and changes in project scope within a fast-paced startup setting.
