VeloceTech is seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join its team in Lahore. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience providing technical assistance and support to users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and resolving hardware and software issues promptly. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of network administration, software installation, and Windows operating systems. The IT Support specialist will work effectively with remote support tools and remote desktop support to assist users in different locations.
The position focuses on addressing technical problems with clear communication and delivering timely solutions to end-users. The candidate must be attentive to the needs of VeloceTechs staff, assisting them with their IT requirements while maintaining system integrity and security. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the individual will collaborate closely with other IT professionals to ensure high-quality support and uptime across the companys infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to requests for technical assistance through phone, email, or remote support tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to restore normal operational status.
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems, primarily on Windows platforms.
- Assist in managing network administration tasks, ensuring connectivity and security for internal systems.
- Provide remote desktop support to users for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
- Document internal procedures and maintain records of issues and solutions to improve efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with users to explain technical information and provide clear guidance.
- Maintain system performance by performing regular maintenance and updates on workstations and servers.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to escalate complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards in all technical activities.
