Responsibilities:

  • LC and Bank Document Management: Manage all aspects of Letters of Credit (LCs) and related bank documents for international trade transactions. Prepare, review, and verify LC terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with trade agreements.
  • Export and Import Documentation: Prepare and review export and import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Standards: Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards in all documentation.
  • Bank Contracts and Agreements: Review, draft, and negotiate bank contracts, agreements, and other financial documents related to trade financing.
  • Communication and Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams, banks, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate and timely exchange of trade documents.
  • Data Accuracy and Recordkeeping: Maintain meticulous records of all trade documents and transactions, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve discrepancies or issues related to documentation and trade transactions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance documentation processes for increased efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Documentation Specialist in a trading company, with a strong understanding of LCs, international trade procedures, and related documentation.
  • Solid knowledge of trade regulations, banking procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review.
  • Proficiency in using trade documentation software and tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams, banks, and international partners.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle documentation-related challenges.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
