Car Upholsterer Responsibilities:

Repair and Restoration:

Repair and restore damaged or worn-out upholstery, including tears, burns, and stains.
Rebuild or reinforce the underlying framework of car seats or other components as needed.
Refurbish and rejuvenate the interior to its original or desired condition.

Customization:

Collaborate with clients to create custom interior designs and fabricate unique upholstery elements.
Install custom features such as leather seats, decorative stitching, and personalized accessories.
Ensure that custom modifications comply with safety regulations and standards.

Material Selection:

Select appropriate upholstery materials, such as fabric, leather, vinyl, foam, and padding, based on client preferences and project requirements.
Consider factors like durability, comfort, and aesthetics when choosing materials.

Inspect and Maintain Tools and Equipment:

Maintain and calibrate sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment used in upholstery work.
Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working condition and are used safely.

Quality Assurance:

Perform quality checks to ensure final upholstery work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Address any issues or concerns identified during the quality inspection.

Documentation:

Customer Service:
