The Remote Support Supervisor Civil operates independently without managing a team but plays a critical role in guiding field teams to promptly address snags and non-compliance issues. Responsibilities include daily tracking of assigned sites, escalating delays or non-conformance, and ensuring all civil works meet defined specifications and quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication for escalation processes, and the ability to produce comprehensive audit and quality reports supported by visual documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct remote supervision of civil works through video sessions or photo audits in alignment with project scope using telecom-specific tools.
- Perform lab test audits where applicable to verify material quality and compliance with technical specifications.
- Prepare and deliver detailed quality reports as per customer requirements, including interim audit reports with supporting photos and screenshots.
- Track daily progress of assigned sites and activities, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
- Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards established by the customer during all civil works.
- Identify snags, outstanding issues list (OILs), and other defects, providing guidance to field teams for rectification and monitoring their closure.
- Timely escalate any non-compliance, delays, or quality issues through formal email communications and other stipulated channels.
- Verify material types and quality during execution to ensure they meet approved procedures and specifications.
- Monitor workforce execution of quality and EHS adherence throughout the civil activity phases.
- Confirm that completed civil works conform to specifications and quality standards before site acceptance.
- Ensure all identified snags and OILs are resolved prior to final acceptance of the site.
- Prepare comprehensive quality reports post-completion, backed by extensive supporting documentation and customer acceptance records.
