A reputable travel and tourism company based in Karachi is seeking a full-time, on-site Umrah Sales Staff member to join their team. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, recommending suitable Umrah packages, preparing quotations, and managing the entire booking process. The position also involves following up on leads, handling necessary documentation, and coordinating with various service providers to ensure smooth travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Umrah travel procedures and possess strong communication and sales skills in both English and Urdu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding Umrah travel packages.
- Recommend appropriate packages based on customer needs and preferences.
- Prepare and provide accurate quotations for various Umrah travel options.
- Follow up on sales leads to convert potential customers into confirmed bookings.
- Manage the booking process, including reservation confirmations and payment tracking.
- Handle all required documentation related to Umrah travel efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transport services, and other service providers to ensure seamless travel experiences for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Umrah travel regulations, procedures, and seasonal changes.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company’s Umrah travel segment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in sales or travel-related roles, preferably in Umrah or Hajj travel services.
- Educational qualification of Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency in both English and Urdu languages, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated sales ability with a customer-focused approach.
- Sound knowledge of Umrah travel procedures, including visa requirements, travel documentation, and package components.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Previous experience working in a travel agency or tourism company specializing in religious travel is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM software and booking systems is a plus.
- Competitive salary range between PKR 35,000 and PKR 60,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
