UKEC is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our team and support our human resources department. The HR Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's HR functions run smoothly and efficiently. This position will be responsible for various HR activities, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and On-boarding:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including creating job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including orientation and training programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and assist in job classification and salary structure.

2. Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in resolving employee disputes and conflicts, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.

3. HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal and payroll information.

4. Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with managers to establish and monitor performance appraisal processes.
  • Support the development of performance improvement plans and career development initiatives.

5. Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and assist in organizing training and development programs.
  • Manage training records and track employee development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
