The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting. Additionally, this role will involve various administrative responsibilities to support the overall functioning of the textile unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Management:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Manage tax compliance, including filing VAT, GST, and other relevant taxes, ensuring adherence to local regulations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide insights to improve financial performance.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Support HR functions, including payroll processing and employee record management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement and inventory management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of office procedures and policies.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting and financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or textile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of taxation laws and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
