Trikl is looking to onboard a Fund Accountant having expertise in the mutual fund and asset management industry. The individual will be responsible for accounting and bookkeeping the fund and will assist in development of financial statements, ledgers, reconciliation, cash management and fund accounting
You will be:
- Assisting in maintaining accounting records and books and financial statements including but not limited to developing a ledger, profit and loss statements, cash flow, and balance sheet on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Assisting the financial controller in fund accounting operations (which will be managed by IT Minds), and developing internal reconciliation for NAV calculation and fund movement.
- Assist in regulatory and statutory reporting for the AMC and the fund
- Coordinate with ITMinds for any reporting and accounting requirements
- Assisting in daily reconciliation, settlement, payments, and cash management
- Review and Calculating of NAV (Net Asset Value)
- Working closely with other departments for budgeting and forecasting and calculating ex-post analysis
- The candidate will also assist in stakeholder management (internal and external)
If you have
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of company accounting/fund accounting at an Asset Management Company. This is a mandatory requirement
- Education in accounting and finance, ACCA or other relevant field(s) Skills and competencies
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping
- Financial modeling and security valuation
- Experience with Quickbooks or such accounting software
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Should have extensive knowledge of financial markets and instruments, and regulations
- Strong organizational, team, and time management skills
- High level of integrity and ethical standards
