Senior MERN Stack Developer

We're looking for a Senior MERN Stack Developer with specific experience in the travel industry to contribute to building and maintaining our Travel CRM and mobile application This role is ideal for someone who can quickly adapt to our company’s environment and efficiently contribute to the development of our travel solutions.

We are offering 4 days work from home and 1 day office.

This is a part time opportunity and you have the flexibility to decide on your schedule and it can turn into full time.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel CRM Development:

Design and develop an advanced Travel CRM using the MERN stack.
Integrate APIs for travel services such as bookings, payments, and customer management.
Ensure the CRM is scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly for the travel industry.

Mobile Application Development:

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications (e.g., Journey-X) using React Native.
Seamlessly integrate mobile apps with backend services and third-party APIs.
Optimize apps for responsiveness and performance on both Android and iOS platforms.

Website Development:

Build and maintain high-performance, responsive websites tailored for the travel industry.
Implement front-end (React.js) and back-end (Node.js) integration to ensure seamless functionality.
Continuously improve web functionality and performance based on feedback and best practices.

Cloud Management & Deployment:

Deploy and manage Travel CRM and mobile applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Heroku, or similar.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based services.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments and updates.

API Development & Integration:

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect with third-party travel services, booking engines, and customer systems.
Secure API interactions using authentication protocols such as OAuth and JWT.

Full-Stack Development:

Handle both front-end (React.js) and back-end (Node.js) development.
Work with MongoDB to design, optimize, and manage efficient database schemas for travel-related data.

Collaboration & Version Control:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
Use Git for version control, and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality.

Troubleshooting & Optimization:

Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack, ensuring timely fixes.
Continuously improve application performance and scalability for high-traffic travel platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the travel industry working on travel CRMs, mobile apps, or websites.
MERN Stack Proficiency: Expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Mobile App Development: Strong experience with React Native for mobile app development.
Cloud Management: Hands-on experience with AWS, Heroku, or similar cloud platforms.
Travel-Specific API Integration: Familiarity with third-party travel service APIs (e.g., booking systems, payment gateways, etc.).
Version Control: Proficiency in Git and experience with Agile development practices.
Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and optimization skills, especially in high-traffic environments typical to travel platforms.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Containerization: Experience with Docker or Kubernetes for cloud infrastructure management.
CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins or GitLab for continuous integration and deployment.
