Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field visits to follow up on overdue payments.
- Negotiate repayment plans with clients face-to-face.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to non-payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all field recovery activities.
- Collaborate with the accounts department to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of collections and outstanding debts.
- Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines and procedures for debt collection.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Recovery Field Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field visits.
