Total Infrastructure Group Limited TIGL provides civil and utilities infrastructure works across telecommunications, electricity and gas. TIGL is looking for five experienced telecommunications technicians to work on contracted telecom projects in Christchurch. Nationally recognized telecommunications service providers will head these projects.
We are looking for permanent employees, not contractors. Immediate start is available to the suitable candidates. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in telecommunications, preferably working in MDUs. This permanent position has 32 guaranteed hours per week, A maximum of 40 hours per week. We are currently looking for multiple technicians/cable joiners. Range of earning min 46600-Max 60000 NZD
- FTTH connectivity from ISP to customer sites, service troubleshooting.
- Connecting fiber at the cabinet, fusion splicing at FAT, FTP and ONT.
- Integration of copper connection with fiber network.
- Commissioning end customers' data and voice equipment provided by regional service providers.
- Physically survey at customer end for installation..
- Optical fiber cable laying in duct & PVC flexible.
