Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of work methods and procedures.
  • Follows up on and ensures the appropriate implementation of decisions.
  • Assists in training arrangements.
  • Supports the HR Department in the development and maintenance of Personnel Policies and Procedures and new programs and services related to Human Resources.
  • Handles the execution of HR tasks, providing administrative support to the HR Manager.
  • Assists the HR Manager with recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes and sends appropriate correspondence to all applicants in a timely manner.
  • Supports the HR Manager in the development and implementation of sound personnel systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Processes payments of monthly payroll for staff and maintains strict confidentiality of all records relating to payroll.
  • Administers the Employee Information System, maintains records, and opens new personal files for new staff.
  • Participates in HR planning recruitment and prepares relevant procedures for interviews and the receipt of new staff.
  • Helps newcomers integrate with company departments.
  • Undertakes any other duties as assigned from time to time by HR departments.
  • Coordinates and follows up on office assets.
