Job Responsibilities

· Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support The Hunar Foundation's programs and initiatives.

· Research potential donors & sponsors and make report on donor data to identify trends, segment donors, and strategize based on your findings.

· Active participation in planning & executing activities/events for generation of funds as part of RMD Team.

· writing and compelling grant proposals, fundraising appeals, and other communication materials.

· Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.

· Support the organization of fundraising events and campaigns.

· Maintain donor databases and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

· Collaborate with the team to create engaging content for social media and other communication channels

· Manage acknowledgement letters/tax receipt.

· Any special task or projects assigned by the Line Manager

Requirements & Core Competencies:

  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Spreadsheet & Form.
  • Basic Knowledge of Accounting.
  • Good understanding of Information Management System.
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skill
  • Practical experience with a variety of software applications specially Data Base Systems.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising databases.

Registered in 2008 under the Societies Act 1860, Hunar Foundations took its first batch in January 2010 in premises supplied by Delhi Mercantile Society, Karachi in its DMS School facility. The students gave their City & Guilds exam at the end of the year and till 2019 14 batches had graduated with one year diplomas. Since then Hunar has added its Rashidabad (near Tando Allah Yar), Lahore (Bedian Road), Multan (Pak Arab Fertilizer) and Kharian campuses as well as a women’s institute in Karachi that started in 2015 and is in the process of relocation to a new modern upgraded facility.
