Beauty Instructor

You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering theoretical and practical lessons in beauty techniques, including hair styling, skin care, makeup, and nail technology. The role involves maintaining student records, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and participating in professional development activities to provide high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities Teaching and Instruction:

Plan and prepare detailed lesson plans in alignment with the course curriculum.
Teach beauty principles and techniques, including hair styling, cutting, manicuring, and skincare.
Provide practical instruction on facials, hair coloring, chemical treatments, makeup application, and nail technology.
Ensure the safe handling and use of chemicals and equipment during practical sessions.

Student Assessment and Guidance:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance and performance evaluations.
Assess and grade students based on their performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Notify staff of any student’s inability to meet course requirements and suggest corrective measures.

Administrative Duties:

Raise Purchase Requests (PR) for course material and equipment requirements.
Update inventory records to ensure the availability of required materials and avoid discrepancies.

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills: Education:

Diploma or Certification in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field.
Additional certifications in hairdressing, skincare, or makeup artistry are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in the beauty industry.
Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of beauty principles, including hair care, makeup, and nail technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assess student performance and provide constructive guidance.
Proficiency in maintaining records and inventory management.
Commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
