The Cluster Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing the delivery of quality education at schools. They are also responsible for guiding, mentoring and developing their school teams.

KRA 1: STUDENT ENROLMENT AND RETENTION

  • Ensure student enrolment and gender parity according to capacity in schools.
  • Plan and execute Enrolment Drive based on the annual student enrolment strategy.
  • Plan and implement strategies for student retention.
  • Improvement in student retention.

KRA 2: TALENT MANAGEMENT

  • Manage recruitment process of TCF local teachers and non-faculty in consultation with RHR and DM.
  • Ensure timely orientation of newly recruited TCF and government teachers.
  • Ensure that 100% of new staff go through PRESET.
  • Ensure capacity building of current faculty through formal training and one-on-one coaching/mentoring sessions.
  • Net improvement in teachers’ classroom observation scores vis-à-vis previous scores.

KRA 3: OPERATIONS (BUSINESS AS USUAL)

  • Ensure high attendance of students and staff.
  • Ensure understanding of available resources (textbooks, uniforms, tablets, printed, stationery, teaching materials/manuals) for staff and monitor implementation.
  • Group or one-one orientation session on the resource utilization as and when needed.
  • Quarterly School Visit score is improved by ‘x’ % for the relevant indicators.
  • Update all data related to school enrolment, operations and academics, as required.
  • Ensure compliance to financial management processes.
  • Ensure all procedures comply with TCFs policies and relevant Government guidelines.

KRA 4: INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP

  • Assist Principals/HM in developing School Improvement Plan and review its progress in relation to school targets.
  • Train and coach HMs to give productive feedback on lesson plan, conduct classroom observation and set improvement targets for teachers.
  • Conduct classroom observations as per the policy guidelines, set and follow up improvement targets for teachers independently.
  • At least 01 independent classroom observations per academic year for each teacher.
  • Monitor lesson planning quality, copy checking, remediation plan, literacy leadership and co-curricular activities.
  • Provide written comprehensive feedback on any 01-lesson plan for all teachers every month.
  • Recheck 2 copies from each grade every month and provide feedback to the teacher as per policy guidelines.
  • Management of external and internal exams at school.
  • Improvement in APR (average percentage result)

KRA 5: RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Engage with parent’s school community including participation in CSG (community support groups) / SMC (school management committees) to leverage their support for school's improvement.

KRA 6: AREA IMPROVEMENT PLANNING

  • Develop (and submit for approval to DM) annual improvement plan for each school along with HM and implement the proposed area improvement strategies.
  • Develop AMP within 02 weeks of new academic year.
  • Implementation of AMP strategies and actions.
  • Utilize data in making effective decisions pertaining to area improvement.

KRA 7: CULTURE

  • Ensure that principals / HMs / CMs enable a collaborative learning environment where teachers are reflective practitioners, learn from each other, are receptive to feedback and feel comfortable sharing their areas of improvement.
  • Ensure inculcation of 5C's in school among Students.
  • Maintain positive staff engagement and motivation.
