Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for assisting the Head-Continuous Audit in supervision and management of continuous audit reviews and selection of control processes/engagements for Continuous Audit testing etc. Key responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of Continuous Audit Roadmap, Methodology and procedures.
- Development of Reporting/ controlling dashboards for continuous audit using Power BI/ MS Excel etc.
- Coordinate with Head in selection of control processes/engagements for Continuous Audit testing to review design and operational effectiveness of such controls.
- Supervise research work and testing of controls as per defined guidelines through data mining and data analysis.
- Supervise continuous audits and manage work of team for ongoing assessment of controls.
- Review reports and work conducted by the team and follow up till closure of reported exceptions.
- Prepare Summary/ MIS of allocated auditing procedures, checking and marking of compliance against reported issues.
- Recommend Closure of continuous auditing activity after validation of automated controls implemented by the management to mitigate associated risk.
- Develop and maintain cordial and professional working relationship with other stake holders’/ auditees management at all times and discuss workable Management Action Plan in response to Audit Findings.
- Supervise and monitor performance of continuous auditing team to ensure that reviews are being conducted efficiently and effectively within given time schedule.
- Prepare periodic Reporting Package for outstanding to be shared with Head Continuous Audit for onward presentation to Board Audit Committee.
- Any other assignment given by the line management.
Qualification: Minimum Bachelors/MBA/M.Com./MSc in Accounting/ Finance/ Mathematics/ Statistics/CFAP/CAF/CA/CIA from any HEC Recognized University. Certification in relevant field including data sciences shall carry additional weightage.
Experience: Minimum 06 years of experience in Commercial Bank out of which 03 years must be with an Internal Audit Function of a Bank.
Age: Not more than 55 Years as of June 22, 2024.
