What You’ll Do

  • The Senior Specialist in Information Security Global Compliance will be responsible for leading the implementation of necessary information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in the Teradata Global Development Center in Pakistan, in coordination and in alignment with standards that have been communicated by the Teradata Global Information Security Manager.
  • Lead the design and operation of related compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance both with Information Security policies or any applicable laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of controls to identify possible compliance risks and improve them continuously.
  • Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
  • Prepare reports for senior management.
  • Coordinates and liaises with related functions (such as Physical Security/Facilities, ITS, HR) and senior managers throughout the organization as necessary, on information security matters such as routine security activities plus emerging security risks and control technologies.
  • Coordinate, execute and implement activities relating to contingency planning, business continuity management and IT disaster recovery in conjunction with relevant functions and third parties.

Who You’ll Work With

You will work in a Global Environment with teams across Information Security and business units across the company. The position reports to the Director, InfoSec Risk Management and Compliance.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business from an accredited institution, is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of full-time work experience in information security management and/or related functions (such as IT audit and IT Risk Management).
  • Solid understanding of global compliance framework like SOC2, SOC1, ISO 270001, TISAX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA and HITRUST.
  • Knowledge of information system architecture and security controls.
  • Information security management qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)/ Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), preferred.
