We are seeking an individual willing to own the success or failure of a project on a timeline, who will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. We are seeking another technical co-founder for our innovative AI startup. This could be a primary or secondary job for you. Your work will be automatically monitored, and you must actively track at least 40 hours per week and achieve weekly outcomes. Stock options and vesting will be rewarded based on achieving planned outcomes. Bonuses will be rewarded based on revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - You must provide examples of each

Critical Thinking: participate in discovery, planning, and implementation interviews with customer business buyers and company executives; ask open-ended and tactical questions; listen to business and technical problems, processes, and procedures; analyze and objectively evaluate conversations and information; design, test, and measure solution scenarios.

Backend Architecture and Development:

Design and implement scalable microservices using Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support seamless frontend integration and data exchange.
Model and structure complex data effectively using MongoDB.
Collaborate with frontend developers and business domain experts to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.

Full-Stack Development (Preferred):

Development of user-facing components using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js).
Contribute to full application lifecycle, ensuring consistency and integration between frontend and backend layers.

Testing and Optimization:

Write thorough unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems for performance and reliability.
Design for scalability, handling high-traffic and data-intensive scenarios.

DevOps and Collaboration:

Participate in CI/CD processes and deployment strategies.
Work effectively within an agile development team, sharing knowledge and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Node.js Expertise: (3+) years of professional development with deep understanding of asynchronous programming concepts and JavaScript design patterns.

MongoDB: Extensive experience with MongoDB, including database design, querying, and performance optimization.

Microservices: Solid foundation in microservice architecture principles and implementation.

APIs: Proficiency in developing secure and well-documented APIs.

Testing: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
