This role involves designing, developing, and customizing sophisticated WordPress websites and premium business solutions tailored for recruitment agencies, staffing companies, corporate businesses, and professional service providers. The developer is expected to create websites that are SEO-friendly, fast-loading, secure, and deliver outstanding user experiences that drive significant business results.
This position does not involve managing a team but requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can independently handle the entire website lifecyclefrom theme and plugin development to website optimization, security enhancements, and cloud hosting management. The Senior WordPress Developer works closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional, visually appealing, and performant websites. A strong portfolio demonstrating personal involvement in website design and development is mandatory.
Responsibilities
Develop custom WordPress websites focused on business and professional service sectors
Customize and extend themes and plugins to create tailored, scalable solutions
Build responsive, SEO-optimized, and conversion-driven websites adhering to best practices
Optimize website speed, including Core Web Vitals, to enhance user experience and ranking
Implement advanced WordPress Plugin API usage and build custom plugins where necessary
Ensure security best practices in WordPress installations and configuration, including SSL, DNS, and Cloudflare setup
Manage website hosting environments, including cPanel and cloud hosting platforms for optimal performance
Apply UI/UX design principles to develop visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align website functionality with business objectives
Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning on WordPress-based systems
Maintain technical documentation and provide ongoing maintenance and support for deployed projects
Stay current with emerging trends in WordPress development, front-end technologies, and digital marketing techniques
Demonstrate ability to manage full project life cycle independently from conceptual design to deployment
Ensure adherence to web standards, accessibility, and compliance guidelines in all deliverables
