We are seeking a highly skilled Technical SEO Content Writer to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of SEO best practices, technical optimization, and content strategy to produce high-performing, search engine-optimized content. You’ll work closely with SEO strategists, developers, and content marketers to create content that drives organic traffic and supports our digital marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and optimize content (blogs, landing pages, product pages, guides, etc.) based on keyword research, search intent, and technical SEO guidelines.
- Conduct Content gap analyses to inform the content roadmap.
- Collaborate with SEO teams to ensure content aligns with technical SEO principles (e.g., proper heading structure, schema markup, canonical tags, crawlability, etc.).
- Use tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, and Clearscope to guide content optimization.
- Monitor SERP performance and continually improve rankings through content updates and optimization.
- Stay up to date with algorithm changes, schema updates, and new ranking factors.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Journalism
- Mass Communication
- Political Science (especially for news, policy, or editorial content)
- English Literature or Linguistics (optional but common)
- Public Relations or Media Studies (relevant for corporate/marketing content)*
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in SEO content writing
- Strong understanding of technical SEO elements (crawlability, indexing, site architecture, structured data, etc.).
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, GA4).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and engagement.
- Ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights for content improvement.
- Understanding of E-E-A-T and experience writing for YMYL niches is a plus.
- Familiarity with content optimization platforms (e.g., Surfer SEO, Clearscope, MarketMuse).
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience writing technical content for IT, ecommerce, or enterprise websites.
- Knowledge of international SEO, hreflang, and multilingual site structure.
- Experience with content migrations or redesign projects.
