We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in testing mobile applications, web applications, and usability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring software quality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver flawless digital products.
Responsibilities:
Mobile Application Testing:
- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications across various platforms (iOS and Android).
- Identify and document defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide valuable input during the development process.
Web Application Testing:
- Perform end-to-end testing of web applications to ensure functionality, compatibility, and performance.
- Create and execute test cases for web-based features and functionalities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles to provide continuous feedback and ensure timely release of high-quality software.
Usability Testing:
- Evaluate the user interface and overall user experience of applications.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving usability and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the seamless integration of design and functionality.
Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and web applications.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to ensure the reliability of automated tests.
- Continuously explore opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in QA testing, with a focus on mobile and web applications.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset to identify and address potential issues.
- Knowledge of usability principles and best practices.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
