Skills, Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a web developer or Shopify developer.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify templating language).
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js (a plus).
- Knowledge of Shopify APIs and app development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for e-commerce and a desire to help businesses succeed online.
- Proven proficiency in developing applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify's Liquid templating language.
- Competence in API integrations, e.g. with .NET RESTful APIs.
- Strong in critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Strong proficiency in Git version control, demonstrating effective use of GitHub.
- This encompasses committing code with clear, descriptive comments, skillfully managing branch operations including merging and rebasing, and linking project issues to pull requests. The candidate should consistently integrate changes into the main branch through well-structured pull requests, ensuring seamless code updates and efficient tracking of project progress.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Redux, Context API, Virtual DOM, performance optimization, and React testing/debugging.
- The candidate must willing to use and be familiar with various collaboration tools, including task boards, chat platforms, and video conferencing. They should also be willing to participate in daily stand-up meetings, demonstrating a commitment to team communication and project coordination.
- The candidate must be proficient in both written and spoken English to facilitate clear understanding, collaboration, and efficient execution of projects.
- Familiarity with C# .NET API programming is beneficial, though not a primary requirement of the job. This role values adaptability and a strong desire for continuous learning which is essential in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Theme Development and Customization: Design and develop custom Shopify themes or modify existing themes to create unique and engaging online stores.

- Store Optimization: Analyze store performance data and implement strategies to improve conversion rates, average order value, and overall sales.
