The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing our SEO strategy to improve our website's visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs). This will involve a variety of tasks, including:
- Keyword research and analysis
- On-page optimization
- Technical SEO
- Link building
- Content creation
- Competitive analysis
- Reporting and analytics
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience in implementing successful SEO campaigns. They will also have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Core Required Skills:
- Able to understand the client’s requirements well and provide them with the required solutions
- Able to handle the client’s projects covering all the technical and non-technical requirements and able to implement and deploy the solutions.
Handling all aspects of SEO, including:
- On Page SEO such as Keyword research
- meta tags
- SEO site architecture
- internal linking etc. ·
- SEO Technical analysis such as improving page speed ·
- Link Analysis and Link Strategies (creative out of the box thinking is necessary) Complete and detailed website audits
- Competitor research and analysis
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Content Development based on content gaps or potential opportunities
- Keep up to date with latest industry developments, news, tools etc. ·
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings ·
- Maintain regular communication with the category managers ·
- Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools etc.) ·
- Provide recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages ·
- Develop a thorough understanding of the online retail industry and demonstrate the same effectively on the deliverables, internal & external discussions, etc.
- Prepare monthly progress reports which tracks the category progress and also provide useful recommendations to the category teams.
- Prioritize tasks based on dynamic category inputs
Job Role Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in SEO
- Proven experience in keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and written skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for digital marketing
