Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Tendering Engineer is involved in and responsible for the preparation of formal sales tenders and quotations.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate tender documents for guidelines, technical specifications, drawings, scope of work.
- Source/develop foreign principles as per tender requirements
- Prepare competitive bids from principles’ quotes.
- Prepare/evaluate contracts in line with PPRA rules
- Negotiate regarding technical requirements and terms & conditions
- Hold Off-site meetings/ surveys with Customer as required
