Civil Draftsman

Techno Time Construction is looking for a skilled Civil Draftsman with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of civil engineering drawings. This role involves preparing detailed construction plans and blueprints that support the engineering and architectural teams to ensure successful project execution. Precision, attention to detail, and familiarity with drafting standards are essential to create accurate and clear technical drawings. The Civil Draftsman will work closely with engineers and project managers to translate concepts and designs into detailed drawings for construction. This position requires the ability to interpret technical specifications and integrate them into draft plans. Although this role does not include managing a team, the candidate should demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary project teams and meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities

Create detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and blueprints using AutoCAD software.
Translate technical designs and specifications from engineers into accurate and comprehensive construction drawings.
Ensure all drafts comply with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve design issues and refine plans.
Modify and update drawings to reflect changes in design or revisions during various project phases.
Assist in preparing site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts as required for project documentation.
Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and revisions for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
Participate in project meetings to discuss design requirements, progress, and challenges.
Perform quality checks to ensure all drawings are error-free and meet project standards.
Support the preparation of bid proposals and technical reports by providing relevant drafting material.
