Techno Packaging is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation processes. This role requires a professional accounting qualification, with a preference for ACCA certified candidates, and a minimum of seven years of experience in accounting functions. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the financial planning and analysis needs of the organization. The successful candidate will work independently without managing a team, focusing on tasks such as processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting cash flow analyses, and utilizing ERP software to streamline accounting operations. This position demands proficiency in various accounting software and the ability to reconcile accounts efficiently. The Accountant contributes to maintaining the financial health of Techno Packaging by delivering timely and precise financial data to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning and control.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
Use ERP and invoice management software to streamline financial operations and maintain accurate records.
Monitor cash flow and perform cash flow analysis to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Collaborate with auditors and assist with the preparation of audit materials.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
Identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to accounts payable and receivable promptly.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and standards to ensure organization compliance.
