Technical Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Technical Assistant based in Islamabad to provide essential support in the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment of IT hardware and networking equipment. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The position operates during morning shifts and is strictly on-site, with occasional travel as part of the job responsibilities. The salary range for this role is PKR 30,000 to 50,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and configuration of IT hardware and networking devices to ensure smooth operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of technical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and maintenance activities accurately for future reference.
- Support the deployment of new hardware and network solutions as per project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Participate in on-site visits and travel as needed to support installations or maintenance tasks.

Required Qualifications
- A relevant diploma, bachelor’s degree, or technical training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Equivalent hands-on experience in IT hardware and networking support will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware components and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems independently.
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail.
