Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are on the lookout for a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and validation processes. As a QA Engineer at Techlabs, you will work closely with our development team to identify bugs, implement effective testing strategies, and enhance the overall user experience of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality and adherence to business requirements.
Identify, document, and track software defects encountered during testing.
Collaborate with software developers to resolve issues and ensure that software meets quality standards.
Participate in the design and review of new features, providing input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
Monitor and evaluate testing results against predefined criteria and ensure that software is prepared for release.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to improve the testing process.

Requirements:

1 year experience in software development.
Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related subject.
