As a Specialist II, Technical Scrum Lead within EY’s Technology Consulting division, you will be instrumental in driving Agile adoption and execution across technology teams. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Agile ceremonies, encouraging continuous improvement, and working closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure technology outcomes align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional Agile teams in iterative technology development, ensuring strict adherence to Agile and Scrum principles while fostering smooth collaboration. Coach teams on Agile best practices to promote continuous learning and enhance Agile maturity. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and align technology deliverables with business goals. Identify and remove impediments that hinder project progress, ensuring teams have adequate resources and support. Manage stakeholder expectations by maintaining transparency regarding project scope, schedule, and budget, while addressing concerns proactively. Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain alignment and drive continuous improvement. Assist teams in estimating deliverables, improving velocity, and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains. Maintain product and sprint backlogs, ensuring tasks are well-documented, prioritized, and aligned with evolving business needs. Apply Agile methodologies to incorporate changing customer inputs and business conditions into product development. Serve as a mentor and Agile champion, actively participating in special projects aimed at enhancing organizational agility.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Agile project management, Scrum Master roles, or technical leadership within software development. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech). Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and best practices. Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps. Proficiency in coding and technical concepts, including Java, Angular, Node.js, POSTMAN, CUCUMBER, AWS, and SQL queries. Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, TDD/BDD, and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Honeycomb. Experience in monitoring and refining dashboards, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous process improvements in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
