As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and managing various aspects of the supply chain process to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services. You will utilize analytical tools, data analysis techniques, and industry knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the performance of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to inventory levels, transportation costs, production schedules, and other supply chain metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.

Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels by balancing stock availability with cost considerations to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Implement inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management processes.

Supplier Management: Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials at the best possible cost.

Logistics Optimization: Analyze transportation routes, modes of transport, and distribution networks to optimize logistics operations and minimize transportation costs while meeting customer delivery requirements.

Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain process and develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.

Risk Management: Assess potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain, such as supplier delays, natural disasters, or geopolitical events, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of operations.

Technology Utilization: Utilize supply chain management software, analytics tools, and other technological solutions to automate processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance decision-making capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, logistics, and sales, to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • BBA, MBA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCMP) is a plus.

Experience:

·         3-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, logistics management, or related field., preferably in a corporate environment.
