Overview: The Contract Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that engineering projects adhere to contractual obligations and are executed efficiently. They are responsible for negotiating contracts, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally, they collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and legal teams to resolve disputes and mitigate risks associated with contracts.

Key Responsibilities

· Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to establish contracts that meet the needs of the project while minimizing risks.

· Manage all aspects of contracts throughout their lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

· Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them. Analyze contract terms to assess potential financial, legal, and operational risks.

· Ensure that contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact contract management processes.

· Collaborate with project teams and legal counsel to resolve disputes that arise during the contract lifecycle. Work to find mutually beneficial solutions that uphold contractual obligations.

· Monitor contract performance to assess cost-effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Analyze contract data to optimize resource allocation and minimize expenses.

· Ensure that contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact contract management processes.

· Review technical specifications & project requirement
