Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement computer vision algorithms and models for image and video analysis.
- Design and optimize deep learning architectures for object detection, recognition, segmentation, and tracking.
- Collect, preprocess, and annotate large datasets for training and validation purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Evaluate and benchmark existing computer vision models and algorithms, and suggest improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computer vision and machine learning research.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Assist in deploying computer vision solutions in production environments.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise in the development and deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in computer vision and machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Proficiency in computer vision libraries and tools (OpenCV, Dlib, etc.).
- Solid understanding of image processing techniques and algorithms.
- Familiarity with GPU programming and parallel computing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on challenging projects independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Previous experience with deployment of computer vision models in production is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a bonus.
