About the role:

  • Join our thriving team as a Bid Writer, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our success through the creation of compelling proposals. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional writing skills, and a passion for winning new business opportunities.
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the unique requirements outlined by each client for every bid.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and tailor proposals to meet client needs, aligning them to company values.
  • Write well structured, accurate and persuasive content for bids.
  • Update and maintain the bid library.
  • Actively participate in bid meetings
  • Stay informed about industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to enhance the competitiveness of our proposals.
  • Effectively manage multiple bids and deadlines, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.

About you:

  • To be considered for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas:
  • Master’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of bid writing best practices, bid processes and methodologies of the UK industry.
  • A minimum of 3 year’s proven experience as a Bid Writer, preferably in the Facilities Management and Security industry of the UK.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement and the process of bidding under the UK contracts regulations.
  • Excellent written English language and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, thriving in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross function teams.
  • Can work independently and uses own initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
