The Group Level Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of Swabs Synergy. This position involves market visits to scan and evaluate suppliers, event photography to document key business activities, and gathering market intelligence to inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and seizing new business opportunities. Candidates must have their own bike to facilitate regular market visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Visits and Supplier Scanning:

    • Conduct regular market visits to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
    • Assess supplier capabilities, negotiate terms, and ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Event Photography:

    • Capture high-quality photographs at company events, trade shows, and meetings.
    • Ensure all important moments and key individuals are documented.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure photos align with branding and promotional strategies.
  • Market Intelligence:

    • Gather and analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
    • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Business Development:

    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s market presence.
    • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other prospecting methods.
    • Develop proposals and presentations to attract new clients and partners.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
    • Provide regular reports on market visits, supplier assessments, and market intelligence findings.
    • Contribute to the development of business development plans and targets.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business development, procurement, or a related role.
    • Proven track record of achieving business development goals and driving growth.
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in photography and familiarity with event photography techniques.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Must have own bike for regular market visits.
