Due to increased growth, Supertouch has expanded its manufacturing operations in Pakistan by investing in a state-of-the-art facility to produce high-quality technical workwear.

Position Overview:

The “Manager Accounts” will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities related to the factory's operations. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and practices.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for various departments and projects within the factory.
  • Monitor budget variances and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure financial targets are met.

Tax Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory accounting processes and ensure accurate valuation of inventory.
  • Implement controls to minimize inventory shrinkage and losses.

Cost Control:

  • Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Implement measures to control and reduce expenses while maintaining quality standards.

Team Management:

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the accounting department.

Financial Planning:

  • Assist in developing financial forecasts and projections to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide input and insights on financial implications of strategic initiatives and business expansions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the financial health of the factory.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively seek opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in accounting and finance.

Qualifications:

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ACMA) preferred.
  • Proven experience of minimum 10 years in accounting or financial management, preferably in the manufacturing or textiles industry.
  • Having audit experience from Big 4 audit firm will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation laws in Pakistan.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems will be preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
