We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team on a remote, full-time, and permanent basis. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in shaping the visual narrative of our brand by crafting compelling video content that resonates with our audience. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with our marketing, content, and product development teams to produce a wide array of video materials that align with our brand's vision. A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills across various platforms is required and must be presented via a link.

Responsibilities:

The core duties and responsibilities of the Video Editor will encompass, but not be limited to:

  • Editing and producing high-quality video content for various channels, including social media, websites, product demos, and marketing campaigns.
  • Assembling raw footage, adding sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects to create polished final videos.
  • Collaborating closely with the marketing and content teams to understand project goals and deliver video content that aligns with the brand's messaging and objectives.
  • Managing and organizing video assets, including footage, graphics, and project files, to ensure a streamlined workflow.
  • Staying updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques to continually enhance the quality of video outputs.
  • Overseeing the quality and consistency of all video content to maintain brand integrity.
  • Reviewing final video outputs with the team and making necessary adjustments based on feedback.
  • Preparing videos for various formats and platforms, ensuring optimal quality and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics and animation software, including Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
  • Strong creative vision and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to tell a story through visual content.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to learning new techniques and adapting to changing industry trends.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience in video editing.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with color grading and sound design is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with video compression and optimization techniques for various platforms, including web and social media.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and the emotional impact of video content.
