Operation and Production Manager

Sumaira Khanani Studio is seeking an experienced Operation and Production Manager with a strong background in the fashion or apparel industry in Pakistan. This role demands at least 5 years of experience, focusing on overseeing and enhancing production processes, ensuring quality control, and driving cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership abilities and communication skills to effectively manage a large team and promote a streamlined workflow. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating production planning and execution to meet the company’s high standards and customer expectations. The Operation and Production Manager will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 50 people, guiding and motivating them to achieve optimal productivity and quality. The role involves continuous process optimization and cost reduction strategies, requiring a proactive approach to tackle challenges in production. Working closely with various departments, the manager ensures that deadlines and quality standards are consistently met, contributing significantly to the overall success of Sumaira Khanani Studio.
Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of 75-150 production staff to achieve operational goals.
Develop and implement effective production plans to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Optimize manufacturing processes for increased efficiency and reduced costs.
Ensure strict adherence to quality control measures throughout all stages of production.
Monitor daily production activities and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and schedules.
Evaluate current production procedures and propose improvements for better performance.
Manage budgeting and cost control efforts to maximize profitability.
Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and performance.
Prepare reports and analyze production data to inform decision-making.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Address any operational challenges quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
