The Account Officer is responsible for executing detailed account reconciliations, managing data entry and financial data integrity, and ensuring effective communication across departments. This position demands exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and numerical accuracy to effectively contribute to the financial stability and reporting needs of Sukhera Developers. The Account Officer plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with financial standards and supporting continuous improvements in accounting procedures within the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed account reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Manage data entry and maintenance of financial records ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel, employing functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables for data analysis.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and coordinate with relevant departments to collect necessary information.
- Handle bookkeeping tasks including recording transactions, categorizing expenses, and updating ledgers.
- Utilize ERP and accounting software to process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to data protection standards.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to the role.
