PURCHASER

The Purchaser constantly monitors market trends and pricing by conducting visits and research to ensure the company stays ahead in procurement strategies. This position demands excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms, ensuring smooth production operations and cost efficiency. With at least four years of experience required, this role focuses on meticulous purchase order processing, maintaining complete and accurate purchase records, and supporting inventory management to avoid stock shortages and production disruptions. This role does not involve managing a team but requires strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate effectively across multiple departments and with external suppliers.
Responsibilities

Develop and sustain strong vendor and supplier relationships to facilitate optimal procurement activities.
Conduct regular market visits and research to stay informed about the latest pricing, quality standards, and new material options.
Negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable delivery schedules, and advantageous payment terms.
Ensure that all purchased items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Accurately maintain purchase records, invoices, and all supplier-related documentation for transparency and auditing purposes.
Monitor inventory levels to support effective stock management and prevent production delays.
Coordinate and follow up on the timely delivery of materials to ensure continuous production flow.
Collaborate with inventory planners and production teams to forecast procurement needs and align purchasing activities accordingly.
Process purchase orders efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
Stay updated on market trends and supplier capabilities to advise management on potential improvements in procurement processes.
