Style Group of Industries is seeking a dedicated Data Entry Operator for the Inventory Warehouse to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data. This role involves precise logging of all incoming receipts, outgoing dispatches, and internal stock transfers using the company's inventory or ERP software. The candidate plays a critical role in maintaining seamless inventory flow by verifying supply invoices against purchase orders and Goods Receipt Notes before processing. Attention to detail and accuracy are vital to update item codes, batch numbers, and adjustments for damaged, returned, or missing products as reported by clients and the production house. This position requires at least one year of relevant experience and no management of team responsibilities.
The ideal candidate efficiently supports inventory management and logistics coordination within the warehouse environment by reflecting physical cycle counts and audit updates in the system balances. They are responsible for ensuring that all inventory data is current and accurately maintained to support smooth order processing and warehouse operations. Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems and a commitment to maintaining high data quality is essential. This role is crucial to streamline inventory operations and help the company achieve operational excellence within the logistics function.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record all incoming shipments, outgoing deliveries, and internal transfers in the inventory or ERP system to maintain precise inventory records.
- Verify and cross-check supply invoices against purchase orders and Goods Receipt Notes to ensure billing and stock accuracy prior to forwarding for approval.
- Update and maintain item codes, batch numbers, and related data for every inventory transaction and adjustment.
- Input adjustments in the system for items affected by damages, returns, or discrepancies reported by clients and production.
- Regularly update system inventory balances to reflect results from physical cycle counts and periodic warehouse audits.
- Support order processing activities by providing accurate inventory information for timely dispatch and receipt.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate smooth movement and storage of goods in the inventory system.
- Maintain the integrity of warehouse management systems by promptly entering data and correcting discrepancies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory data management and record keeping.
- Continuously monitor data quality and suggest improvements to inventory data entry processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
